Overview and Basics
Field service groups are an essential feature of the ministry work and a primary component in your congregation's organization.
Being able to assign territories to field service groups allows the field service group overseers and assistants to easily manage the assignments that the group shares.
It also allows publishers in the field service group to be able to quickly access the group territories (depending on your congregation settings).
To begin creating your congregation's Field Service Groups visit your Congregation page and navigate to the
Field Service Group tab.
By
clicking on the
create field service group button you can create a field service group as shown in the image below.
The field service group can easily be
renamed at any time by clicking on the name of the field service group as shown in the image below.
The field service group can also be
deleted by clicking on the delete button as shown in the image below.
All the publishers within the service group will also be removed from the group.
Additionally, you can view and manage all of the assignments a field service group currently has assigned to them by clicking on the
assignments button as shown in the image below.
Once your field service group is created you can begin adding publishers to it by clicking on the
add publisher button as shown below.
